The goodbye that will change everything for you

(your creative success depends on it)

Clients ghost you. Algorithms change. People don’t “get” your work. Money feels inconsistent. And it’s so easy (so tempting) to believe that this is why you’re stuck.

These things have always been part of the creative path. And yet, some creatives break through while others stay stuck in the same loop, year after year.

Why?

Because getting unstuck isn’t about waiting for the industry to change. It’s about shifting the way you see your role in it. This means saying goodbye to a version of yourself that’s been keeping you small.

Letting go doesn’t have to be sad. Maybe that’s why you’ve been avoiding it: because goodbyes feel heavy, uncomfortable, even painful. Not all goodbyes are losses. Some are necessary steps toward your growth. What if, instead of fearing them, you saw them as making space for something better?

Carl Jung once said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

In other words, your creative reality isn’t just shaped by circumstances. It’s shaped by the patterns, beliefs and doubts you carry. Yeah, you, me, and everyone else.

If deep down you believe:

  • “Things never work out for me.”

  • “I’ll never be as good as (insert successful creative here).”

  • “I just need (more time/more money/more confidence) before I start putting myself out there.”

Then, you’ll act in ways that make those beliefs true. You’ll hesitate. You’ll overthink. You’ll sit on ideas for years while watching others make moves.

And I say this because I’ve been there.

It took me three years to put my content series, The Brand Files, out into the world. Three years of questioning if it was worth it, if anyone would care, if I had anything valuable to say. And yet, when I finally did it? I got attention from brands like Adidas, The North Face and Liquid Death.

Not because I had some special access. Not because I had it all figured out. But because I finally let go of the version of me that kept waiting.

So ask yourself… what are you waiting for?

We live in the best possible time to take charge of our creative future. More access. More tools. More ways to connect and build something real. There’s no gatekeeper stopping you… except maybe yourself.

But all this access comes with something else: overwhelm. The flood of information, strategies and advice can leave you stuck in a loop of consuming instead of creating. That’s why turning inward is more important than ever. To filter out the noise. To understand what’s truly right for you.

The answers you’re looking for aren’t out there. They’re already within you.

You just have to be willing to listen.

Are you?
