Creating for the past or the future?

If you’re pessimistic about the future, you probably can’t see yourself developing the skills and qualities to handle tomorrow’s world.

We have always had good and evil, and we will always have. Nowadays, the scale is different – on both extremes. Technology was one of the main factors in making it bigger.

Technology has given us so much comfort (as never seen in human history), and pretty much all of our survival problems have been found a solution. I’m not saying everything is resolved in people’s lives (I would be very ignorant if I said that), but there’s a possible solution for almost every problem. We develop the skills to build houses and organize cities, health systems, transport, and food distribution so we don’t need to hunt anymore like mancaves or walk for 20 hours when you can drive 4.

This is why the area of The Self is now, and I’m not being egotistical here; we’re facing our inner problems more than any other generation before us. They were solving external issues, so now we can start looking more within. Therapy, Inner Healing, and Wellness practices are huge areas (and industries) nowadays. We have become more sensitive than ever, as have our products, from touch screens to virtual reality and immersive experiences.

Last week, I had the privilege to attend a couple of events during Milan Fashion Week that were around the concept of the Phygital: when the digital and physical are blended through technology – you can see bits of how it went here.

As we slide into the Phygital Era, we bring revolutionary technologies like Web3, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and 3D modeling. These tools are not just technological innovations; they represent new mediums for creative expression, offering unprecedented opportunities for artists, designers, and creatives from all fields. Yes, I’m talking about you.

Web3: promises to decentralize the internet as we know it, empowering users and content creators through blockchain technology. But what does this mean? It means you now have a new space to explore, where the authenticity and ownership of your work are prioritised.

AI: not just a tool for automating tasks; it's a companion in the creative process, capable of generating ideas when you feel stuck. The collaboration between humans and machines opens doors to a new era of creativity.

3D: 3D modeling is a valuable skill across various industries, from animation to product design. With advancements in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), the demand for immersive 3D content will only increase.

Integrating Web3, AI, and 3D modeling into your work is not just a way to stay relevant in the future that has already arrived; it's an opportunity to redefine what it means to be creative in the digital age. Explore and experiment with these tools, using your creativity to shape the future – because if you don’t, someone else will.

If you want to know more about this our phygital world, let me know. I’m also learning as much as possible because it will give us new spaces and ways of self-expression and creative expression.
